 2. Uparkot Fort

Just about 5-6 km from Mt. Girnar, there is a wonderful architectural beauty to watch. The Fort hosts a lot of beautiful attractions like Navghan Kuo, Adi Kadi Vav, etc. inside it. Also not to miss is the view of the city you get from the top of the fort.

 3. Ashok Shilalekh

Ashok Shilalekh or Rock Edicts of Ashoka are locted on the route from the city to Mt. girnar. These 14 giant rocks belong to 250BC are carved in Brahmi Script in Pali Language. The Site is open from 8AM to 6 PM and is a place which connects us to Spirituality and History.

 4. Damodar Kund

Damodar Kund is a sacred lake located about 6 kms away from M. Girnar. It is also considered holy because of the belief that the departed soul get Moksha here and hence Ashes of the deceased are immersed in the lake.

 5. Science Museum

The first Science Museum started in Gujarat is a small and but one of the most interesting places of Junagadh. It has around 50 working projects based on sound, light, electricity, etc. A fun place to visit, this should be on a checklist whenever you visit the city of Junagadh.
